As you have noted, this is a versatile shoe for all occasions. It can blend well with a more formal attire and also be perfect for hiking on dirt trails As a San Franciscan, this is the perfect footware. I wish I knew how to keep the shoes clean after country walks. They can't be shined and eventually show wear. However, this seemingly discontinued model is my favorite.
