The story of Timberland begins in 1952 with Nathan Swartz and the Abington shoe factory, located in the industrial region of New England in the United States. In 1973, the Swartz family revolutionized the footwear industry with a decidedly new idea: injecting the insoles instead of sewing them, in order to make them waterproof. To differentiate themselves from the competition, they imagine an entirely new model, at the same time comfortable, waterproof, almost indestructible and portable summer and winter: the boot "Timberland" was born. The Yellow Boot instantly becomes a classic and remains a staple of streetwear.
