Canada Goose, since 1950
The Canada Goose story starts in the 1950s, when Sam Tick immigrated to Canada, bringing a strong entrepreneurial spirit with him. Very quickly, he founded his first company specialising in coats, jackets, parkas, and jumpers. Year by year, the company learned new techniques, most notably the invention of a volume-based goose down filling machine, giving the company the name Canada Goose.
Inspired by one of the coldest places on earth, the Expedition Parka was developed to meet the unique needs of scientists in Antarctica, becoming a must-have for any polar expedition. Manufactured in Toronto, Canada, Canada Goose has become a worldwide leather in luxurious equipment to stay warm in the cold.
