Rondinaud : the art of living
Born in 1907, Rondinaud comes from a long family tradition of cobblers that goes back to the 17th century. Their history is intimately connected to the Charentaise, a pair of slippers created under Louis XIV in the region of the Charente, France. At the time made from recycled felt paper, they were used as soft insoles which were placed in clogs to make them more comfortable. Since their creation, Rondinaud has brought modernity, innovation, and demanding traditional expertise to the Charentaise. From year after year, their collections are similar yet unique, giving a young and modern look to these centuries-old slippers.
