Pollini shoes from Italy
" The shoes of today are nothing more than jewels for our feet." This is the idea the Pollini fashion house wishes to convey. In the early twentieth century, two Italian brothers, Romeo and Domenico Pollini engaged in the production of handmade shoes in the heart of a region already well known for its craftsmanship.
During both world wars, the Italian army asked shoemakers to provide shoes to soldiers throughout the country. In the 60's, Romeo and Domenico decided to start industrial production and opened their first boutique in Ravenna. The company grew and Pollini brothers began collabrating with luxury shoe designer Bruno Magli and then began working with with Gucci, Blumarine and Narciso Rodriguez. Today, the brand has gained international recognition by offering elegant products with bold styling and a modern twist.
